The Lincoln Fighting Zebras got by the host Rio Linda Knights football team by a score of 45-40 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Fighting Zebras meet the Woodland Wolves (Woodland, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, August 29. Lincoln will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Wolves come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 52-14 non-league loss to Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA).

With the defeat, Rio Linda drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Marysville (Marysville, CA) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-1. Marysville lost 22-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Dixon (Dixon, CA)
