South Carolina High School Football - Trinity Collegiate can't hold off Pee Dee Academy

August 22, 2025: Darlington, SC 29532

Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles (Mullins, SC) fans exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they witnessed their football team hold off the host Trinity Collegiate Titans (Darlington, SC), 14-12 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles face the Williamsburg Academy Stallions (Kingstree, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Pee Dee Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Stallions enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 34-7 non-league win over Thomas Sumter Academy (Dalzell, SC).

With the defeat, Trinity Collegiate drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 1-0. Ben Lippen won 28-7 in their recent non-league test against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC)
