August 22, 2025: Jim Thorpe, PA 18229 Pleasant Valley Bears (Brodheadsville, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Jim Thorpe Olympians (Jim Thorpe, PA), 11-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pleasant Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bears host Bangor (Bangor, PA) to confront the Slaters in a non-league test on Monday, August 25. The Slaters come into the test with a record of 2-0. Bangor won 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against Liberty (Bethlehem, PA)
