In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Bishop Union Broncos volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Virginia City Muckers.

The Broncos (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Spanish Springs was beaten by Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Muckers meet the Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Virginia City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bighorns go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV).
