Tennessee High School Volleyball - Memphis East Brighton
August 22, 2025: Memphis, TN 38111 Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Memphis East Mustangs (Memphis, TN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Crockett County (Alamo, TN). The Cavaliers go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Crockett County gained a win over Obion County (Troy, TN), 3-0, in a league test.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millington Central for a non-league test on Friday, August 22. Memphis East will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Douglass (Memphis, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
