August 23, 2024: Hemingway, SC 29554 The Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC) football trounced the host Carvers Bay Bears (Hemingway, SC), 34-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hannah-Pamplico for a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. Waccamaw will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Carvers Bay drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Kingstree (Kingstree, SC) to clash with the Blazers in a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. The Blazers come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Kingstree lost 13-12 in their recent non-league outing against Georgetown (Georgetown, SC)
