August 23, 2024: Hazen, ND 58545 Watford City Wolves (Watford City, ND) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND), 32-16 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Watford City advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolves travel to Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND) to play the Firebirds in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Firebirds go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Devils Lake lost 34-27 in their recent non-league battle against Central Cass (Casselton, ND)
The Bison now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Turtle Mountain for a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. Hazen will play a Braves team coming off a 36-18 non-league win over Surrey (Surrey, ND). The Braves record now stands at 1-0.
