Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), 41-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Southern Lee advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Seaforth lost 18-16 in their recent non-league battle against Westover (Fayetteville, NC)
