Tennessee High School Volleyball - Arlington tips Houston

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Arlington Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Houston Mustangs.

The Tigers (7-0) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary's Episcopal (Memphis, TN). The Turkeys go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, St. Mary's Episcopal tipped Bartlett (Bartlett, TN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. George's for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Houston will face a Gryphons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-1.
