Homestead Spartans (Fort Wayne, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Andrean (Merrillville, IN). The Fighting 59ers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Andrean was nudged by Lake Central (St. John, IN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. NorthWood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
