Texas High School Volleyball - Willis tips Houston Christian

The Willis Wildkats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Houston Christian Mustangs to 1 in the Wildkats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildkats now have a 10-9 record. They play next when they host The Woodlands for a 6A Region II District 13 outing on Tuesday, August 26. Willis will confront a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Grand Oaks (Spring, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-6.

The Mustangs (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Bellaire (Bellaire, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Bellaire was edged by St. John's (Houston, TX), 2-1, in a non-league game.
