Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX) and the host Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX), observed MacArthur's volleyball team hold off Jourdanton by a tally of 2-1.

The Brahmas (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Victoria East (Victoria, TX). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Victoria East was edged by Marion (Marion, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Indians/Squaws now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bandera for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Jourdanton will encounter a BULLDOGS squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Sam Houston (San Antonio, TX). The BULLDOGS record now stands at 7-9.
