Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lone Star Rangers (Frisco, TX) and the host Memorial Warriors (Frisco, TX), observed Lone Star's volleyball team hold off Memorial by a count of 2-1.

The Rangers (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wylie (Wylie, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Wylie was tipped by Keller (Keller, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now own a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Colony for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26. Memorial will meet a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Marcus (Flower Mound, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 4-7.
