August 24, 2023: Batesburg, SC 29006 The Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) football defeated the host Batesburg-Leesville Panthers (Batesburg, SC), 50-22 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Indians face the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, August 31. Gilbert will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Thoroughbreds enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, SC).
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Pelion (Pelion, SC). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
