In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Centennial Chargers.

The Railsplitters (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL). The Spartans come into the Central State Eight battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Springfield Southeast went down by Rochester (Rochester, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
