The Hoover Buccaneers prevailed the visiting Athens Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Buccaneers now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jasper for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Hoover will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Athens (Athens, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
