Virginia High School Volleyball - Yorktown tips Oakton
August 25, 2025: Arlington, VA 22207 In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Yorktown Patriots volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Oakton Cougars.
The Patriots (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Westfield edged Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars play the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Oakton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA).
