The Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks the visiting Millard West Wildcats softball squad by a count of 5-3 in Monday's league challenge.

Coming up next, the Silver Hawks confront the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) in a A District battle, on Tuesday, August 26. Lincoln Southwest will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Discoverers come into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 4-1 league loss to Westview (Omaha, NE).

With the loss, Millard West moves to 4-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Millard North (Omaha, NE) to meet the Mustangs in a A District challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Millard North won 17-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Kearney (Kearney, NE)
