The Fayette Ware Wildcats (Somerville, TN) football routed the host McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN), 60-26 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Craigmont Chiefs (Memphis, TN) in a 4A Region 8 bout, on Friday, September 2. Fayette Ware will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Chiefs enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 38-8 non-league win over Kingsbury (Memphis, TN).
