North Carolina High School Soccer - Sun Valley toppled by East Mecklenburg
August 26, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28212 East Mecklenburg Eagles (Charlotte, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, East Mecklenburg advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 2-2. Richmond won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC)
The Spartans now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Cabarrus for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. Sun Valley will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-5.
