Brecksville, OH — It was a perfect evening at Bees Stadium as the Brecksville-Broadview Heights varsity Bees hosted the Nordonia Knights on Youth Soccer Night. The festivities began with the Bees taking the field through a tunnel of future soccer stars, and the home team gave the crowd plenty to cheer about in a decisive 8–0 win.
The Bees wasted little time seizing control of the match. Otto Grieser opened the scoring to set the tone, and by halftime Brecksville had built a commanding 5–0 lead. The offense didn’t slow down in the second half, with the Bees continuing to find the back of the net and finishing with eight goals on the night. Grieser recorded two goals, while Andrew Scott, Alex Hechko, Luka Zivkovic, Milos Crncevic (two goals), and Zane Altaqi also contributed to the scoring.
In goal, Alex Daum earned his first varsity start. Backed by a strong defensive performance, Daum helped secure the clean sheet.
