August 26, 2025: Hurricane, WV 25526 Calvary Baptist Academy Patriots (Hurricane, WV) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Hannan Wildcats (Ashton, WV), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Calvary Baptist Academy moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Victory Baptist Academy (Beaver, WV) to clash with the Saints in a test on Tuesday, September 2. The Saints come into the test with a record of 2-1. Victory Baptist Academy lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Summit Christian Academy (Princeton, WV)
The Wildcats now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Marys for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Hannan will confront a Blue Devils squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame (Clarksburg, WV). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-2.
