Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) and the visiting The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX), observed Willis's volleyball team top The Woodlands by a count of 3-1.

The Wildkats (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Cleveland (Cleveland, TX). The Indians go into the 6A Region II District 13 battle with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, Cleveland dropped by Grand Oaks (Spring, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Highlanders now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vandegrift for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. The Woodlands will encounter a Vipers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over McNeil (Austin, TX). The Vipers record now stands at 10-10.
