August 28, 2025: Tecumseh, MI 49286 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Tecumseh Indians (Tecumseh, MI) and the visiting Airport Jets (Carleton, MI), witnessed Tecumseh's football squad topple Airport by a count of 42-16.
The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pinckney (Pinckney, MI). The Pirates go into the Southeastern - White battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Pinckney was topped by Owosso (Owosso, MI), 21-12, in a non-league battle.
The Jets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a Huron match on Friday, September 5. Airport will play a Bears team coming off a 42-28 non-league win over Hanover-Horton (Horton, MI). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
