The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA), saw Hermitage's football team bounce Matoaca by a final score of 38-0.

With the win, Hermitage advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Henrico (Richmond, VA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 0-1. Henrico lost 48-6 in their recent non-league contest against Petersburg (Petersburg, VA)

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Matoaca will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Cadets go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 38-0 non-league win over St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA).
