Ohio High School Volleyball - Canton Central Catholic overwhelmed by Hoover

August 28, 2025: North Canton, OH 44720

Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Canton Central Catholic Crusaders (Canton, OH), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hoover advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Vikings host GlenOak (Canton, OH) to play the Golden Eagles in a Federal challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. GlenOak lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Lake (Uniontown, OH)

Next, the Crusaders play the Tuslaw Mustangs (Massillon, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Canton Central Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH).
