The Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL) volleyball knocked off the visiting Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL), 3-0 in Thursday's league contest.

The Hornets (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Cobras enter the 4A District 8 contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Hudson notched a victory over Angeline Academy of Innovation (Land O' Lakes, FL), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Hurricanes battle the Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) in a 4A District 8 contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Citrus will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
