In Thursday's non-league match, the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) volleyball squad overcame the host Clinton Central Bulldogs (Michigantown, IN), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 2. Western will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Eastern (Greentown, IN).

The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern (Kokomo, IN). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Northwestern dropped by Manchester (North Manchester, IN), 3-0, in a league battle.
