August 28, 2025: Edna, TX 77957 Edna Cowboys (Edna, TX) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Edna advances its record to 2-11 on the season. The Cowboys travel to St. Joseph (Victoria, TX) to face the Flyers in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Flyers go into the test with a record of 18-6. St. Joseph won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Navarro (Geronimo, TX)
The Pirates now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Incarnate Word Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Sinton will face a Angels squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Goliad (Goliad, TX). The Angels record now stands at 12-8.
