In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host New Hope Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the North Sand Mountain Bison.

The Indians (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Brindlee Mountain (Guntersville, AL). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Brindlee Mountain was defeated by Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Bison now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brindlee Mountain for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. North Sand Mountain will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Lions record now stands at 0-2.
