Arizona High School Volleyball - Red Mountain over Valley Vista

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Red Mountain Mountain Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Valley Vista Monsoon.

The Mountain Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cibola (Yuma, AZ). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Cibola was beaten by Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Monsoon meet the O'Connor Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Valley Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ).
