August 29, 2024: Greeneville, TN 37745 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the North Greene Huskies (Greeneville, TN) and the visiting Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA), witnessed North Greene's football squad wallop Castlewood by a tally of 42-6.
The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jellico (Jellico, TN). The Blue Devils enter the 1A Region 1 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Jellico was trounced by Oakdale (Oakdale, TN), 12-8, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Blue Devils battle the Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. Castlewood will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 35-16 non-league loss to Lebanon (Lebanon, VA).
