The Catholic Central Shamrocks football squad scored 56 points and limited the host Dearborn Pioneers to 12 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Shamrocks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Central Catholic for a Catholic - Central test on Friday, September 6. Catholic Central will meet a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 27-17 non-league win over Whitmer (Toledo, OH). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Dearborn drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Glenn (Westland, MI) to meet the Rockets in a Kensington Lakes - East test on Friday, September 6. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 0-1. Glenn lost 37-8 in their recent non-league test against River Rouge (River Rouge, MI)
