South Carolina High School Football - Cardinal Newman loses to Porter-Gaud
August 29, 2024: Columbia, SC 29223 Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Cardinal Newman Cardinals (Columbia, SC), 16-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Porter-Gaud advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cyclones travel to Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC) to play the Falcons in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 3. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Cardinals now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ben Lippen for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12.
