South Carolina High School Football - Easley thwarted by Wren
August 29, 2024: Piedmont, SC 29673 Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC), 21-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wren advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Powdersville (Greenville, SC) to play the Patriots in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Green Wave now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Wade Hampton for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. Easley will play a Generals team coming off a 24-14 non-league win over Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Generals record now stands at 1-0.
