The Indians now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Augusta for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19.
With the defeat, Newberry drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Clinton (Clinton, SC) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league test on Thursday, September 5. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 1-0. Clinton won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Laurens (Laurens, SC)
