South Carolina High School Football - Southside thwarted by Liberty
August 29, 2024: Greenville, SC 29605 Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Southside Tigers (Greenville, SC), 26-18 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Liberty improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Pickens (Pickens, SC) to play the Blue Flame in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Blue Flame go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Pickens lost 14-12 in their recent non-league battle against Walhalla (Walhalla, SC)
The Tigers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Berea for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12.
