Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC), 70-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Bishop England improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Battling Bishops host Hanahan (Hanahan, SC) to play the Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Hanahan lost 23-20 in their recent non-league battle against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

The Islanders now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host First Baptist School for a non-league match on Friday, September 5. St. John's will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 54-16 non-league loss to Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-3.
