The Camden County Bruins football squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting First Flight Nighthawks to 6 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bruins now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Currituck County for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Camden County will meet a Knights squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, First Flight drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Manteo (Manteo, NC) to meet the Redskins in a non-league test on Friday, September 5.
