The Center Grove Trojans were victorious over the host Carroll Chargers football team by a score of 35-24 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Marion Giants (Marion, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Center Grove will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Giants enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 38-12 non-league loss to Mississinewa (Gas City, IN).

The Chargers (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN). The Cadets come into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran was defeated by Eastbrook (Marion, IN), 41-14, in a non-league outing.
