Indiana High School Football - New Palestine over Decatur Central

August 29, 2025: Indianapolis, IN 46221

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) and the host Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), witnessed New Palestine's football squad knock off Decatur Central by a tally of 28-6.

The Dragons (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Tigers go into the Hoosier Heritage bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Yorktown beat Muncie Central (Muncie, IN), 15-12, in a non-league bout.

The Hawks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Whiteland for a Mid-State contest on Friday, September 5. Decatur Central will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 48-28 non-league win over Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 1-1.
