Texas High School Football - Ennis defeated by Waxahachie

The Waxahachie Indians were winner over the host Ennis Lions football squad by a margin of 44-13 in Friday's non-league test.

The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Coppell for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Waxahachie will clash with a Cowboys squad coming off a 28-20 non-league win over Sachse (Sachse, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Ennis drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Midlothian (Midlothian, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 0-1. Midlothian lost 36-21 in their recent non-league game against Cedar Hill (Cedar Hill, TX)
