In Friday's league outing, the Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA) football squad trounced the host Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA), by a margin of 65-6.

The Warriors now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty County for a AAA Region 3 outing on Friday, September 5. Jenkins will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 36-6 league win over Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Groves drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Long County (Ludowici, GA) to battle the Blue Tide in a AAA Region 3 game on Friday, September 5.
