The Holdrege Dusters football team (Holdrege, NE), dropped 14-3 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE)

With the win, Lexington advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Platteview (Springfield, NE) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Platteview won 30-27 in their recent non-league battle against Crete (Crete, NE)

The Dusters now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Alliance for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Holdrege will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-24 non-league win over Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
