The Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) football tipped the visiting Ohatchee Indians (Ohatchee, AL), 28-21 in Friday's league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Appalachian for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Locust Fork will face a Eagles team coming off a 20-14 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.

The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Pennington (Blountsville, AL). The Tigers enter the 3A Region 6 game with a 1-1 record.
