In Friday's league match, the host Normal Community Ironmen football squad scored a big 40-6 win over the Richwoods Knights.

With the win, Normal Community improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Ironmen travel to Normal West (Normal, IL) to play the Wildcats in a Big Twelve battle on Friday, September 5. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Normal West won 34-14 in their recent league battle against Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL)
