Bryan Bears (Omaha, NE) backers left the game thrilled Friday as they observed their football squad defeat the visiting Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE), 26-7 in a non-league outing.

The Bears now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln Northeast for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. Bryan will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Lincoln High drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Links host Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6.
