In Friday's non-league game, the Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA) football team triumphed over the visiting Notre Dame Titans (Riverside, CA), by a tally of 47-6.

In their next game, the Fighting Lancers battle the Calvary Chapel Eagles (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 6. Western Christian will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 42-25 non-league loss to Valley Christian (Cerritos, CA).
