Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Austin Eagles (Austin, IN) and the host North Knox Warriors (Bicknell, IN), observed Austin's volleyball team top North Knox by a count of 2-0.

With the win, Austin improves its record to 3-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Springs Valley (French Lick, IN) to encounter the Blackhawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Blackhawks go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Springs Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN)

The Warriors now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Evansville Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. North Knox will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
