Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Klein Forest Eagles (Houston, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Connally improves its record to 7-16 on the season. The Cadets travel to North Shore (Houston, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. North Shore lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX)

Next, the Eagles meet the Klein Oak Panthers (Spring, TX) in a 6A Region II District 15 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Klein Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 23-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Clear Lake (Houston, TX).
